Anoscopy
Anoscopy is a simple diagnostic procedure that involves using a small, lighted tube to examine the lining of the anus and lower rectum. It is used to identify abnormalities such as hemorrhoids, fissures, and polyps. The procedure is quick and can be performed in a doctor’s office with minimal discomfort.
