Screening & Diagnostic Colonoscopy
A colonoscopy is a procedure used to examine the inner lining of the colon and rectum using a flexible tube with a camera. Screening colonoscopies help detect early signs of colorectal cancer or polyps, while diagnostic colonoscopies investigate symptoms such as bleeding, pain, or changes in bowel habits. This procedure allows for early intervention and biopsy if necessary.
